Google is adding more third-party services to Gemini, while Adobe says its creative tools are beginning to roll out within the AI assistant. The companies announced the changes on 23 and 24 September respectively.
Google’s new Connected Apps list spans work, creative and everyday services. It includes Airtable and Linear for productivity, Adobe and Webflow for creative work, and Peloton and SeatGeek among its lifestyle examples. Google says users can connect supported apps through Gemini settings or call them into a conversation with an @ mention.
Adobe separately confirmed that selected capabilities from Photoshop, Lightroom, Express and Firefly can be used through Gemini. Its examples include adjusting product photos, preparing social-media variations and customising templates. That describes specific workflows, not unrestricted access to every feature in those products.
Adobe says its Gemini integration is rolling out globally across Gemini plans, subject to regional restrictions and compatibility. Adobe’s help page says the feature currently supports English and requires both a Gemini account and an Adobe account. Users can connect Adobe in Gemini’s Connected Apps settings and then start a request with @Adobe.
The practical test for readers is whether a supported task can be completed within the conversation. Availability and the actions offered by other connected apps may differ; Google has not given a single feature list that applies to all of them.
